Simply be listening to 92.5 Gold FM all day this week to win tickets!! The preview is at Event Cinemas Robina on Sunday June 20th at 11am. On the day you can give your donation to "Give Me 5 For Kids" to the Gold FM staff to help us raise money for the children's wards at our local hospitals.

The creators of the beloved 'Toy Story' films re-open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of our favourite gang of toy characters in TOY STORY 3. As Andy prepares to depart for college, Buzz, Woody and the rest of his loyal toys are troubled about their uncertain future. Directed by Lee Unkrich (co-director of 'Toy Story 2' and 'Finding Nemo'), TOY STORY 3 is a comical new adventure in Disney Digital 3D that lands the toys in a room full untamed tots who can't wait to get their sticky little fingers on these 'new' toys. It's pandemonium as they try to stay together, ensuring no toy gets left behind. Meanwhile, Barbie comes face to plastic face with Ken (yes, that Ken). Pixar veteran Darla K. Anderson ("Cars," "Monsters, Inc.") produces, while Michael Arndt, Academy Award - winning screenwriter of 'Little Miss Sunshine' brings his unique talents and comedic sensibilities.

During the month of June, Gold FM will auction off an outdoor broadcast each week to local businesses. The business who bids the highest will have Richard and Bridge broadcasting live from their place on the Friday morning! You can come down to donate and meet Richard and Bridge!

RACQ TRY- ATHON
RACQ has put the challenge to the breakfast team to complete there own mini triathlon, or in our case, TRY-ATHON.. Even if they don't make it .. They'll still be trying too!

This will consist of 3 stages, first stage will involve Bridge swimming 1500m, with the support of a pool pony to help her make the distance! Rod our newsreader will then bike ride 40km to Coolangatta Airport and back to Miami! Richard then takes over to run 15km all the way back to Southport. If they complete the challenge RACQ will donate $10 000 towards the 'Give Me 5 For Kids Appeal'
Get behind Richard, Bridge and Rod as they put there bodies on the line for 'Give Me 5 For Kids!'

Also this year once again Richard and Bridge will be doing it live for 25 hours straight!! During this time they will be auctioning outdoor broadcasts and doing various crazy stunts to raise more money! Call in with your donations to help Richard and Bridge last 25 hours straight on air.

Give Me 5 for Kids Business Card Challenge. Every business can get involved! Staple a $50.00 note to your business card and take the donation to Gold FM. At the end of the month one business card will be drawn from the barrel and that business will win an advertising package on Gold FM. Plus your business name will be mentioned during breakfast with Richard and Bridge!

Buy Richard and Bridge for Breakfast. Throughout the appeal we'll give businesses the opportunity to have Richard and Bridge live for breakfast from their place of work! Each week we will ask for business to bid for this fantastic opportunity, the business with the highest bid will have the entire prime time breakfast show on site at their business from 5am-9am. This is a great way to be involved in the appeal and also a great way for you to promote and showcase your business to the prime time masses.

For the first time, at the end of June Gold FM will be holding an Art Auction (location to be confirmed) to raise extra funds to wrap up the Give Me 5 For Kids appeal. We are requesting from all homes and businesses if you have any artwork of any description that you would like to donate! Big or small, every little bit will be a great help. The artwork can be dropped off to Gold FM on Level 2 of the Seabank Building 12 - 14 Marine Parade Southport.

There are plenty of crazy things Richard and Bridge are willing to do to raise money for Give Me 5 For Kids, so stay tuned into 92.5 Gold FM for more details!

Who we Help

We all fall accustomed to thinking our kids will never get sick, but for many local families their reality is a lot different. Each year thousands of kids are admitted to hospital, some with minor health issues and others with major life threatening conditions. It's every parent's nightmare to have their child get sick, imagine this nightmare doubled by the horrible reality that your local hospital doesn't have the suitable equipment to help your child get better. With this in mind, Gold Fm introduced the Give Me 5 For Kid's Appeal- with the sole purpose of raising money for the Gold Coast and Tweed Head's Hospitals' children's wards.

In the past 13 years with the help of the community, Gold FM has raised over 1.1 million dollars, ensuring our kids receive the best possible care and equipment available. Without this support from the community this appeal would not be as successful.

Last year we raised over $80,000 and were able to buy a Neo Natal Resuscitation Trolley, Orthopedic beds, a Portable Nitrous Oxide Machine and a Pediatric exercise bike for disabled children. This year we?re aiming even higher!! For this appeal to be successful we need your help.

This year the Gold Coast hospitals are hoping to purchase these items from the money raised by Give Me 5 For Kids:
