2GZ FM Give Me 5 for Kid’s Events

2GZ FM Give Me Five for Kids, is our annual fundraiser where we aim to raise valuable funds for the children’s ward at the Orange Base Hospital.

The 2GZ FM Give Me Five for Kids Appeal is a community based fundraiser where, for a period of 4 Weeks, 2GZ FM will be completely dedicated to raising money for the children’s ward at the hospital.

This year 2GZ FM are aiming to reach further into the Central West communities, with a desire to spread awareness, raise $15,000 and reinforce the knowledge that money donated will go back into the local hospitals and our children.

This is where we would like to invite you to become involved in the 2009 appeal, which is on now. You may become involved in the Appeal by…
• allowing us to place a donation tin in your work place/company
• donating cash or products to the appeal
• bidding for an outside broadcast
• participating in Give Me Five for Kids events and fundraisers.

Whether it’s a one off cash donation or a percentage of your business profits donated to the appeal, all monies raised are greatly appreciated and assists us in ensuring sick children are back on their feet and running around the playground again.

It is your support that will assist us in putting smiles back on the faces of Central West children.


Events

The Trivia King in the Central West is 2GZ FM‘s very own Neil Gill.
On Wednesday Night June 17 from 8pm at the Hotel Canobolas, join in the fun for only $5 and Neil can be bribed for a price if you need help with the answers during the night. Neil will drag out his guitar before and after the trivia so turn up early to get your seat.

If you would like to donate an item for our on air auctions drop them into 2GZ FM Bathurst Road Orange or call Kev on 63622144. The On Air auctions will be held from June 22 during breakfast, one of the items that will go under the hammer is this signed and framed 2009 Country Origin Jersey.
