The Holiday Coast region (from the Camden Haven through to the Nambucca) has raised a staggering $116 000 over the past 5 years for our four local hospitals in Port Macquarie, Macksville, Kempsey and Wauchope through the generous donation of thousands of 5 cent pieces, numerous fundraising events organized by clubs and organizations across our community and through the purchase of dozens of Auction items. All money raised is used to purchase vital medical equipment to specifically assist in the treatment of young patients.

Donations can either be placed in the specifically marked GM5FK Donation Tins at participating businesses or directly into the GM5FK Account at any branch of the HOLIDAY COAST CREDIT UNION.

- The Framed and Autographed 2010 Parramatta Eels Footy Jumper will be auctioned on-air Wednesday June 9



- The Framed and Autographed 2010 Gold Coast Titans Footy Jumper will be auctioned on-air Wednesday June 16

- A Double Pass to enjoy the thrill of a V8 Race Experience at Eastern Creek generously donated by v8.race.com plus plus 2 nights accommodation including Breakfast at the Holiday Inn Sydney to be auctioned on-air Wednesday June 23 between 5-9am.

- Final On-Air Auction on Wed June 30 between 5 and 9am will give you the chance to bid for a HIGH TEA for 8 people at "Tea & Treasures" (76 William St in Port) which includes some bubbly and your own private room plus you'll spend some time with our very own "June the Tea Lady"... Here's a great way to reward your staff or perhaps arrange a family gathering.

Tue June 1 - Live broadcast with 'Niko's Arvo Show' from the Childrens Ward at the Port Macquarie Base Hospital (12-4pm)

Sat June 5 - Charity Bowls Day @ the Macksville Country Club on Wallace Street.



Get a team of 4 together and contact the Club today (6568 1400). There are stacks of prizes to be won and it's only $10 per person. There'll be an auction of a Phillip Hughes signed Cricket Shirt, plus a raffle and a BBQ Lunch and see the 2MCFM "Pelicans" take on the "Macksville Mongrels" in a Challenge match. Have a great day out and help raise money for the kids. Nominations in by 12.15pm for a 1'o'clock start!

Friday June 25 - GM5FK Charity Golf Day at the Camden Haven Golf Club in Kew.

 

BBQ Lunch from 12.30pm then a Shotgun Start at 1.30pm for a 3 person, 9 Hole Ambrose event.
It's $25 per person or $75 for a team and you can also sponsor a hole for $50! Nominate your team today and book via the Proshop 6559 4596 (Steve Boswell).

Friday June 25 - Footy Jumper Friday!



Everyone and anyone can get involved so encourage your friends, family and workmates to wear their favourite footy jumper and then ask them to donate a gold coin or $5 for the honour. No matter who you follow in the NRL, AFL, Rugby Union or Football here?s your chance to show your support for your team and the GM5FK Appeal. Then take your collection to any branch of the HCCU or drop it off to the 2MCFM office in Port at 19 Short St during office hours.
