OVERVIEW During the month of June, 6MD Merredin will be promoting the very worthy fundraising appeal, Give Me Five For Kids. This is a month-long station driven fundraising promotion that raises necessary funds for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. MAIN EVENT DATE AND TIME - Friday 25th June at 7pm Quiz Night at the Merredin Regional Centre & Leisure Centre This year we have been lucky enough to receive a fantastic major prize of 4 night’s accommodation for 2 including breakfast at the Quality Lord Forrest Hotel Bunbury plus a Dolphin Discovery tour and Wine tour. Tables of 8 can be booked for the Quiz Night by calling the radio station on 90413333 at a cost of $10 per person. It would be fantastic if you can get a table together and support this event. Also, feel free to take a trip down memory lane and dress up as your favourite children’s book character to win a prize for the best dressed. There will be plenty of fun and games and opportunities to win some great prizes! Book your tables early as they are bound to fill quickly. All funds raised on this day will go towards Give Me 5 For Kids. The following dates are scheduled: Merredin SHS June 11 North Merredin PS June 17 South Merredin PS & Westonia PS June 2 More schools and dates to come Tins in local businesses Tins will be placed in businesses in the listening area and we ask for donations. The RadioWest team in Merredin will also go for a walk and ask for donations. Kristina Shoe Party Date – Thursday night 17th June and Friday all day 18th June. Kristina will host a shoe party over 2 days – lots of fun for the girls. Twenty percent of sales will go towards Give Me Five For Kids plus donations appreciated. |
