Job Swap Don't tell Cliff, Nay or Wayne, but this month we're putting them up for auction for a Job Swap. The highest bids win and you can choose who comes to your workplace to do your job for a few hours. In return we wont mind you joining us in the studio to become a host for the day!
All funds raised will be given to the PMH Foundation and this money will be directed to the RadioWest Regional Assistance Fund.
Western Australia is geographically the largest state in Australia yet we have only one dedicated children's hospital in Perth our capital city. For many families living in country areas a trip to the hospital means many hours of driving, sometimes longer than an entire day. This brings with it a myriad of other concerns like where to stay, how to pay for accommodation, travel expenses and fuel costs.. when you add this to the medical bills it can become financially overwhelming.
Together with Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, RadioWest has initiated the Regional Assistance Fund to help these families, taking some of the financial burden so that the main thing parents have to worry about is helping their child get the best medical care possible and helping them get better.
100% of the money raised is administered by the PMH and RadioWest takes no commissions or otherwise from the money raised by the public.
